Memorial Day Weekend at Rocket's Landing May 22nd, 2013 Posted by Heather Dixon

If you're staying in town, Rockets Landing is sure to be one of the best places to spend Memorial Day Weekend! This Sunday features Rockets Red Glare, which had a huge turnout last year!

LIVE MUSIC:

5:30 p.m.- Mike Banks and Chris Norred

6:30 p.m.- Kings of Swing

9 p.m.- Fireworks

The food trucks from RVA Street Foodies will be there to satisfy your hunger, plus beer and wine will be available.

About 5,000 people turned out last year for the first Rocketts Red Glare.

Rocketts decided to do it again to show RVA how much fun it is on the river and because they got such a good response from the first event. They hope to make it an annual event in Richmond.

May 30 - June 2 – Richmond's 35th Annual Greek Festival at St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral. This is one festival you don't want to miss!

June 2 – Broad Appétit in Downtown Richmond. Featuring tons of mouthwatering Richmond restaurants and tastes of their most popular dishes at cheap prices. Held on West Broad Street between Henry and Adams.
